Associate Wealth Advisor
HireneXus is partnered with a leading independent RIA to help them add an Associate Wealth Advisor to its Charleston, SC office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career wealth management professional looking to build a long-term career with a respected advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals and families. This role will support two highly successful Senior Wealth Advisors by delivering white-glove client service, supporting financial planning initiatives, coordinating investment management activities, and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
This role offers a growth opportunity to move into an advisor role down the road and offers the ability to gain hands on experience as a second chair on client relationships. The ideal candidate is someone who is currently enrolled in the CFP coursework or who has recently passed the CFP exam that is looking for an opportunity for great mentorship and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional client experience through proactive communication and relationship management.
- Support Senior Wealth Advisors with client service, financial planning, investment management, and day-to-day advisory activities.
- Coordinate investment account openings and onboarding while ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, advisors, and internal investment and operations teams to facilitate timely execution of client requests.
- Maintain accurate client information within the firm's portfolio management and CRM systems.
- Develop a strong understanding of portfolio construction, investment management, and risk management principles.
- Assist with business development initiatives and support client relationship growth.
- Communicate with investment managers and other third-party partners regarding client service matters.
- Participate in firm initiatives and projects focused on improving operational efficiency and enhancing the client experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Studies in Financial Planning, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Progress toward the CFP, CFA, Series 65 required.
- 1-2+ years of experience working with high-net-worth clients, preferably within an RIA, investment management firm, broker-dealer, or similar wealth management environment required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365 required.
- Experience with portfolio management or CRM platforms is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
