Job Description

Integration Manager, Tuck-In Acquisitions

Remote, near a major airport | Up to 25% travel

Company Overview

A private equity-backed and rapidly growing platform in the hospitality sector is building a best-in-class M&A and integration capability to support aggressive acquisition activity across a multi-state footprint. The organization is focused on local, service-oriented operations, investing in systems and leadership to scale efficiently while protecting the seller and customer experience.

Summary

This group is hiring an Integration Manager to run its tuck-in acquisition program. Tuck-ins are smaller acquisitions folded into the company’s existing local operations. The program is growing quickly and will be running several dozen deals a year.

This is a hands-on execution role. You’ll own each deal from signed LOI through close and go-live, typically within 30 days, while managing multiple active deals at a time. The playbook is established but still evolving. The right person runs it with discipline and isn’t afraid to spot what isn’t working and help fix it.

Key Performance Outcomes

  • LOI to Close Execution: Drive each deal from signed LOI to close within about 30 days, with diligence completed and operational readiness confirmed before close.
  • Exceptional Seller Experience: Make sure sellers feel guided and supported from LOI through close, resulting in consistently positive feedback.
  • Smooth Go-Live: Hand each acquisition to the local operating team ready to run, with customers and employees clear on what is changing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons from every deal and bring them into the playbook, so each deal runs better than the one before it.

Primary Responsibilities

Seller Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for sellers, many of them founders selling a business they built.
  • Walk sellers through the deal process and diligence requests, explaining what’s needed and why, so the process feels organized rather than burdensome.

Deal Execution and Diligence

  • Coordinate finance, operations, technology, HR, and legal workstreams to keep each deal on schedule.
  • Confirm diligence sign-off using a consistent standard and precedent from prior deals.
  • Pull in additional review when needed, avoiding gaps or duplicated effort.

Operational Readiness

  • Partner with local operating teams to prepare for go-live, including customer communication and the employee transition plan.
  • Support post-close stabilization until open items are resolved and the business reaches steady state.

Process Improvement

  • Identify friction points in the playbook and tools, and work with the team to address them as the program scales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in integration, PMO, or acquisition onboarding. Experience integrating multiple acquisitions in a roll-up or multi-site business is ideal.
  • A track record of managing several cross-functional projects at once without losing attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence, especially with business owners going through a sale.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where processes are still evolving, with an instinct to improve them.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Founder-led or private equity-backed experience preferred. Hospitality or multi-location services experience is a plus.

Location and Travel

Location is flexible for candidates near a major airport. Travel is up to 25%, with more in the first few months to visit local teams and learn how each one operates.
