Job Title: Associate Scientist

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a driven and curious Associate Scientist to support our measurement product portfolio. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to develop innovative solutions, contribute to proposals and projects, and provide technical expertise across multiple areas. You’ll help analyze performance data, develop test procedures, and present findings to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Over time, you’ll become a subject matter expert in one or more application areas.


What You’ll Do:

  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with senior scientists for guidance and direction.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to assist in the development of solutions and successful project execution.

  • Respond to technical inquiries and provide valuable input for requirements in new proposals and projects.

  • Evaluate existing and new analysis methods to assess performance and application suitability.

  • Write test procedures and prepare all necessary supporting documentation.

  • Present scientific findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Continuously enhance your application knowledge through hands-on experience and training.

  • Develop expertise in at least one application area within three years.

What You Bring:

Skills & Knowledge:

  • A basic understanding of radiation detection and measurement technologies.

  • A solid foundation in mathematics and statistical concepts.

  • Programming experience (preferably in Python or C++) or a willingness to learn.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Science or Engineering is required.

  • A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an application-based environment.
