Director of Procurement

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition and sourcing through purchasing and delivery of key materials and services.
Identify and maintain relationships with high-quality, dependable suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals.
Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and service agreements to drive cost efficiencies and long-term supplier value.
Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate both procurement team performance and supplier effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with the inventory and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels and uninterrupted supply chain flow.
Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members, aligning efforts with company objectives.
Manage procurement integration processes during mergers or acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with company standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience within procurement or supply chain functions
Strong background in negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration
Knowledge of international procurement, including import/export regulations, duties, and tariffs
Thorough understanding of sourcing best practices and relevant regulatory compliance
Proven ability to analyze complex data and solve problems efficiently
A proactive, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills

Lead and mentor the procurement team to meet business objectives.
Oversee procurement integration processes for newly acquired companies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years in a procurement leadership or supervisory role.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
Familiarity with international procurement practices, including duties and tariffs.
In-depth knowledge of sourcing standards and regulatory compliance.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
