Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth financial reviews on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to evaluate performance and deliver actionable insights.
Drive the creation and maintenance of financial models that support strategic planning and long-term business goals.
Develop tools and systems to extract and interpret key data from the company’s ERP platform, enabling informed, data-driven decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide thoughtful feedback to colleagues and leadership, contributing to continuous process and operational improvement.
Lead financial analysis and modeling efforts for potential acquisitions, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
Collaborate closely with operations teams to assess market trends and uncover new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Information Technology, or Statistics—or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or a related role.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and working with ERP systems.
Recent hands-on experience in helping scale finance functions within a growing organization.
Strong organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines while working independently in a remote setting.

Preferred:

Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.

Job Responsibilities

Create tools to extract actionable insights from the company’s ERP system, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with various departments to identify and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide constructive feedback to team members and leadership to drive operational improvements.
Conduct analyses and develop financial models for acquisitions, including strategic planning and guidance.
Work closely with operations teams to understand market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements & Experience

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., accounting, finance, mathematics, information technology, statistics) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
Recent experience in scaling a finance operation.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
Capacity to work remotely with minimal supervision, efficiently managing tasks and time.

Preferred

Familiarity with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools.
