Marine Sales Representative
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marine Sales Representative to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to learn, grow, and develop their expertise in the marine engine sales industry. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed for success. However, previous experience is a plus—we are looking for someone with a strong desire to develop their skills and make an impact.
In this position, you will support distributors in selling engines within the commercial and recreational marine markets across the US and Canada. You will gain valuable experience in sales, product management, and customer relations, all while working in a dynamic and growing team.
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Travel Requirement: 50%+
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct marine engine sales through distributors in USA and Canada.
* Work with distributors to find shipyards, naval architects, and fleet owners to offer Power Solutions.
* Support internal teams by sharing information about product, market, and customer needs.
* Provide training and help develop the distributor sales network.
* Assist with setting engine prices and ensure profitability.
* Maintain and update forecast information, price lists, and customer details.
* Help respond to RFPs and RFQs with distributors to meet customer needs.
* Assist in creating tailored sales presentations for customers.
* Travel to meet with distributors, attend events.
* Ensure customers receive high-quality service and products.
* Follow company guidelines and safety standards.
Qualifications:
University degree preferred (Engineering, Business Management, or related field).
Previous experience in a commercial or technical role is a plus, but not mandatory.
Knowledge of internal combustion engines is beneficial but not essential.
