Sales Executive – Printing
A Sales Executive plays a key role in driving the sales of a company’s products or services. They are responsible for generating leads, building relationships with customers, and closing sales deals with a focus on the defined printing production niche per the vertical and horizontal markets listed below:
Vertical Target Markets
- Publishers (books, catalogs, and publications)
- Corporations and Manufacturers (catalogs and marketing literature)
- National Organizations (publications and membership booklets)
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Generation
• Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media outreach.
• Build relationships with potential customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Client Engagement
• Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
• Deliver impactful product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the company’s key features and benefits.
• Address customer inquiries promptly to foster trust and ensure satisfaction.
Sales Process Management
• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring consistent follow-ups and follow-through.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to successfully close sales opportunities.
Market Research & Analysis
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments to identify new opportunities.
• Collect and report customer feedback and market insights to enhance product and service offerings.
Sales Reporting & Administration
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics using the company’s CRM system.
• Ensure all prospect and customer contacts, as well as quotes for new opportunities, are documented in the CRM.
• Meet weekly activity benchmarks for contacts and quotes to track and adjust performance as needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, highlighting progress, opportunities, and feedback, by Sunday evening.
Collaboration
• Partner with the customer service team to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a Sales Executive, Account Manager, or similar sales role.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Knowledge of the relevant industry or product is preferred.

- Generate new business opportunities and leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media).
- Identify potential customers and build relationships to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and/or potential customers.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers highlighting company’s key features and benefits.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales Process Management
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing the sale, ensuring timely follow-ups and follow-through.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with customers to close sales.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and product offerings to identify new business opportunities.
- Collect and report customer feedback and market intelligence to help improve products and services.
- Sales Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards targets using company’s CRM. CRM will be required to document all contacts with prospects/customers and quotes for new opportunities entered through the quote system. The number of weekly contacts and quotes will be used as a guide to determine if the Sales Executive is on a successful path or if adjustments need to be made to their daily routine.
- Prepare weekly sales reports on sales performance, progress on opportunities, and customer feedback for management. Reports are due no later than each Sunday evening.
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with customer service team to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Account Manager, or similar sales role.
