Job Description

As a key contributor, you’ll serve as the connection point between Engineering, Sales, and Production. This role is critical to ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to completion. You’ll manage jobs within an ERP system, develop technical layouts, and help deliver projects that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Project Coordination & Execution

Support job planning and management within an ERP system, ensuring projects stay on track, on schedule, and within scope.

Technical Design & Documentation

Develop preliminary layouts and system drawings, perform material take-offs, and maintain accurate, organized engineering documentation.

Sales & Proposal Support

Prepare detailed customer proposals, quotes, and sales contracts, including pricing structures and credit terms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation

Work with Engineering, Sales, and Production teams to support product development and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure all designs and projects comply with MSHA, OSHA, and customer-specific safety standards.

What You’ll Bring

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting & Design, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience

2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, structural steel, and industrial construction
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in millwright work, material handling, or mechanical conveying systems
Basic knowledge of low- to medium-voltage electrical systems and motors
Technical writing experience
