Job Description

Vice President – Ancillary Services

A leading, physician-centric specialty medical group is seeking a Vice President of Ancillary Services to drive the strategy, growth, and performance of key service lines across a large, multi-state platform. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this executive will lead the expansion and optimization of ancillary offerings including audiology, allergy, and other emerging service lines.

This is a newly created, highly visible role designed to accelerate growth and increase the contribution of ancillary services as a core driver of enterprise value.

The Opportunity

Ancillary services are deeply embedded within the organization’s existing ENT footprint, creating a unique opportunity to unlock significant organic growth across an established base of providers, patients, and locations.

The organization has a clear mandate to meaningfully increase the contribution of ancillary revenue, with the VP playing a central role in building and executing the strategy to achieve that goal.

This is an ideal opportunity for a leader who enjoys building, scaling, and optimizing service lines within a high-growth, physician-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Value Creation

  • Develop and execute a scalable strategy to grow audiology, allergy, and other ancillary services
  • Identify and lead de novo expansion opportunities, including new service line launches and site development
  • Drive EBITDA growth through increased utilization, service mix optimization, and operational leverage
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics tied to growth, profitability, and ROI

Operational Leadership & Scalability

  • Standardize and scale ancillary operations across a multi-site platform
  • Implement best practices across workflows, productivity, and performance management
  • Optimize patient access, scheduling, and throughput to maximize capacity
  • Partner with clinical leaders to align staffing models with growth objectives

Financial Performance

  • Own full P&L responsibility for ancillary service lines
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify gaps and drive improvement initiatives
  • Execute cost optimization strategies while maintaining high-quality patient care

Physician & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build strong alignment with physician partners to drive adoption and utilization of ancillary services
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders on growth strategy and performance
  • Serve as a key liaison across clinical, operational, and corporate teams

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop clinical and operational leaders across audiology and allergy
  • Build a high-performing, accountable organization capable of supporting rapid growth
  • Recruit and develop talent as the platform continues to scale

M&A & Integration

  • Support the integration of ancillary services within newly acquired practices
  • Assess current-state capabilities and implement standardized operating models
  • Identify and capture synergies to accelerate value creation post-acquisition

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8–12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare services
  • Proven success building and scaling service lines within multi-site or high-growth environments
  • Strong operational and financial acumen with direct P&L ownership
  • Experience driving growth through a combination of organic initiatives and operational optimization
  • Ability to work independently, influence physician stakeholders, and drive change across the organization
  • Experience with de novo development and/or M&A integration is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA) preferred

Additional Details

  • Location: Flexible within the platform’s footprint (Southeast into Texas)
  • Travel: Moderate travel across markets

Why This Role?

This is a high-impact, build-and-scale opportunity within a fast-growing, private equity-backed platform. Ancillary services represent a significant untapped growth lever, and this role offers the chance to define strategy, drive execution, and materially impact enterprise value.

The right candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, operational rigor, and the ability to influence and execute in a physician-led environment.
