Position Summary

We are seeking a Regional Business Manager to support Human Resources operations across two manufacturing facilities with approximately 95 employees. This role serves as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, providing support in recruiting, employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, training, and workforce development.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working directly with employees and managers while helping drive a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Support recruiting and hiring efforts for assigned locations.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and conduct new hire orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files to ensure compliance and accuracy.


Employee Relations

  • Partner with managers on employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Foster positive employee relationships and support retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee recognition and engagement activities.
  • Assist in creating a productive and positive work environment.


Payroll, Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Coordinate payroll activities for multiple facilities.
  • Administer employee benefit enrollments and changes.
  • Manage leave programs, including FMLA, Workers' Compensation, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability.
  • Process employee separations and related benefit transitions.


Training & Development

  • Conduct orientation and employee training programs.
  • Maintain training records and support workforce development initiatives.
  • Assist leadership with identifying and addressing training needs.


Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and serve as a liaison between employees and leadership regarding EHS-related matters.
  • Assist with audits, investigations, and policy implementation.


HR Projects & Strategic Support

  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist leadership with strategic workforce and organizational initiatives.


Qualifications


Required

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, and leave administration.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.


Preferred

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or operations environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
