Flexographic Press Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Green Bay, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Compensation: Up to $35/hour, based on experience

hireneXus is partnering with an established packaging and label manufacturer in the Green Bay area to hire an experienced Flexographic Press Operator for its second-shift production team. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an experienced printing professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on flexographic printing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot press equipment. Experience operating Nilpeter flexographic presses is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing equipment while meeting established quality and production specifications
- Monitor press performance and make necessary adjustments throughout production runs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and print-quality issues to minimize downtime and waste
- Ensure the press is properly stocked with materials needed to complete production runs efficiently
- Maintain high standards for product quality, workplace safety, and material utilization
- Work closely with production team members to meet schedules and customer requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles
- Follow established quality procedures and contribute to a culture focused on quality, efficiency, and innovation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of printing experience required, preferably within flexographic, label, or packaging printing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment
- Experience with cold foils, hot stamp dies, rotary screens, and tactile varnishes
- Experience operating Nilpeter press equipment strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production deadlines
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and/or ISO quality systems is a plus
