Enterprise Business Development Manager
Enterprise Business Development Manager
National Accounts / Sales | Reports to the CRO | Remote (CA or FL preferred)
About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading national commercial landscape services company backed by private equity, is building out a direct-to-enterprise sales channel. Today much of its national business comes through integrated facilities management partners. This new role will open and grow relationships with large, multi-location organizations that buy landscape services directly, a high-growth piece of the business with significant room to scale.
Job Summary
The Enterprise Business Development Manager drives new revenue by identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic enterprise and national account opportunities, with a focus on organizations that procure landscape services directly rather than through third-party management companies. The role calls for a proven business development track record, an established network of relationships, and the ability to build executive-level partnerships that support the company's long-term growth.
Essential Duties
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on acquiring new enterprise and national account clients.
- Establish and leverage relationships, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships to generate qualified leads and expand market presence.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in corporate real estate, facilities, procurement, and operations.
- Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline that supports annual revenue growth objectives, with accurate forecasting and regular reporting.
- Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Collaborate with regional operations leaders to design service solutions that align with client needs and operational capabilities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with account management teams to ensure a smooth transition after the sale and support long-term retention.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development, national account, or enterprise sales experience.
- 3+ years of demonstrated success selling B2B services to multi-location or enterprise organizations.
- Existing relationships with facilities, procurement, or real estate leaders at national multi-location companies strongly preferred. Industry background is flexible.
- Experience in landscape, facilities services, property management, commercial real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and contract negotiations.
- Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel extensively and work variable hours as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
