Job Description

Regional Director of Operations

Medical Aesthetics | Remote

The Opportunity

Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed platform acquiring and operating leading medical aesthetics practices across the United States. Through a disciplined acquisition strategy and hands-on operational leadership, the organization partners with exceptional clinics and provides the resources, infrastructure, and strategic support needed to accelerate growth while preserving the unique strengths of each practice.

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of clinics throughout the Western United States. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to executive leadership and offering significant ownership of business performance. You'll lead operations across multiple practices, coach local leadership teams, integrate newly acquired businesses, and help build the operating infrastructure of a rapidly scaling organization.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven operator who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and wants to play a meaningful role in building an industry-leading platform.

Position Overview

The Regional Director of Operations will serve as the operational leader for an assigned portfolio of clinics, beginning with approximately three to four locations and expanding as the company continues its aggressive acquisition strategy. This individual will have full accountability for operational execution, financial performance, leadership development, and strategic initiatives across their region.

Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable analyzing financial performance, coaching Practice Managers, leading operational improvements, and rolling up their sleeves to solve day-to-day business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Leadership

  • Own the operational and financial performance of a regional portfolio of medical aesthetics clinics.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators across all assigned locations.
  • Partner with executive leadership and finance on forecasting, budgeting, and business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve provider productivity, patient experience, and clinic performance.

Multi-Site Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop Practice Managers across multiple clinic locations.
  • Build accountability through regular performance reviews, operational cadences, and consistent communication.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary operational resource for clinic leadership.

Growth & Integration

  • Lead the operational integration of newly acquired practices into the broader platform.
  • Partner with executive leadership during acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration planning.
  • Standardize operating procedures while respecting the strengths of each practice.
  • Support the rollout of new operational initiatives, service offerings, and best practices across the region.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance, marketing, compliance, technology, and executive leadership to drive business initiatives.
  • Partner with vendor relationships and operational systems to improve efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Help develop scalable processes and infrastructure that support continued organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.
  • Approximately 8-20 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple locations within healthcare, medical aesthetics, dental, dermatology, plastic surgery, or another multi-site service environment.
  • Experience within a private equity-backed, high-growth, or acquisition-driven organization is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience owning business results, including P&L responsibility and operational metrics.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping build scalable infrastructure in a rapidly evolving organization.
  • Passion for the medical aesthetics industry and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% throughout the Western United States.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing platforms in the medical aesthetics industry during a period of significant expansion. You'll have direct ownership of a growing portfolio, meaningful influence on company strategy, and the ability to help shape how the organization operates as it continues to acquire new practices.

Unlike many regional operations roles, this position is not simply about maintaining existing processes. You'll work alongside an entrepreneurial executive team that values operators who take initiative, embrace accountability, and enjoy building businesses.

As the company continues to grow through acquisitions, there will be substantial opportunities for increased responsibility and career advancement.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity
  • Equity participation
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible work environment with significant autonomy
  • Opportunity to work directly with an experienced executive team in a rapidly growing private equity-backed organization
