About the Company
Our client is a private equity-backed, rapidly growing multi-location services platform operating across the Northeast. Through a combination of organic growth, acquisitions, and operational excellence, the company has established itself as a market leader in a highly fragmented industry.
As the organization continues to scale, leadership is investing heavily in data, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities to drive smarter decision-making and create a more data-driven culture. This newly created role represents an opportunity to build foundational analytics capabilities and have a meaningful impact on how the business measures performance, allocates resources, and executes its growth strategy.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, the Data Analyst will serve as the primary analytics resource for the organization. This is a highly visible individual contributor role that combines technical data expertise with business partnership and problem-solving.
The successful candidate will work directly with leaders across Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other functions to develop a common understanding of key business metrics, establish data governance standards, and build reporting that drives action.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the details of source systems, writing SQL, troubleshooting data issues, and transforming fragmented information into meaningful business insights. Rather than inheriting a mature analytics environment, this individual will help build the foundation.
Location is flexible, with remote candidates encouraged to apply.

Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a trusted partner to leaders across Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other functions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Educate stakeholders on metric definitions, reporting logic, and data interpretation.
- Help foster a more data-driven decision-making culture throughout the organization.

- Strong ability to extract, manipulate, validate, and troubleshoot data directly from source systems.
- Experience working with ELT/ETL tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte, Stitch, or similar platforms.
- Proven success partnering with business stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Highly detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting private equity-backed, multi-location, or acquisition-driven organizations.
- Background in services, field operations, route-based businesses, or other operationally intensive environments.
- Exposure to dbt, Python, or other data transformation and automation tools.
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, billing, or field service management platforms.
