Job Description

Manager, Corporate Development

Location: Flexible

A market-leading, private equity-backed services platform is seeking a Manager, Corporate Development to join its highly active and sophisticated M&A team. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer and supporting senior Corporate Development leaders, this individual will play a key role in helping execute the company’s aggressive acquisition strategy across a high volume of transactions.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an analytically rigorous and highly motivated finance professional looking to gain hands-on exposure to full lifecycle M&A execution within one of the most active consolidators in its sector. The organization has a dedicated deal sourcing function and separate integration team, allowing the Corporate Development group to remain highly focused on transaction execution, underwriting, diligence, and strategic growth initiatives.

The Manager will serve as a critical member of the team, supporting pipeline management, acquisition underwriting, investment committee materials, and transaction execution efforts across both tuck-in acquisitions and larger strategic transactions.

Position Highlights

  • Join one of the most active and successful acquisition platforms in its industry
  • Work directly with the Chief Development Officer and senior Corporate Development leaders
  • Gain broad exposure to high-volume M&A execution in a sophisticated sponsor-backed environment
  • Opportunity to take meaningful ownership early in career progression
  • Work across underwriting, diligence, execution, pipeline management, and strategic analysis
  • Highly visible role within a fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture

What You’ll Do

Transaction Execution & Financial Analysis

  • Support full lifecycle acquisition execution from initial evaluation through closing
  • Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and underwriting materials for tuck-in acquisitions
  • Assist Directors with larger and more complex transactions through financial analysis, diligence coordination, and execution support
  • Prepare investment committee presentations, transaction summaries, and executive-level materials
  • Assist with LOI drafting, transaction tracking, and coordination with external advisors

Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and manage acquisition pipeline reporting across active opportunities
  • Support CRM management and ensure pipeline data integrity and hygiene
  • Track deal status, key milestones, valuation metrics, and transaction activity across the portfolio
  • Help develop reporting dashboards and analytical tools to improve visibility into acquisition activity and pipeline conversion

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Directors, finance leadership, sourcing teams, and external advisors throughout the transaction process
  • Support diligence coordination across legal, accounting, operational, and compliance workstreams
  • Assist with post-close tracking and transition activities as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory, consulting, or other highly analytical finance environments
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, ownership, and professionalism
  • Interest in M&A, investing, and long-term growth within a sponsor-backed environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred

Why Join Us

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and private equity ownership
  • Opportunity to join a scaled and highly active M&A platform with significant transaction volume
  • Accelerated learning environment with broad exposure across deal execution and corporate strategy
  • High-visibility role with meaningful responsibility and career progression opportunities
  • Collaborative, performance-driven culture with strong mentorship and development opportunities
